Miss me?

Finally I'm back! It's been about 1 1/2 weeks. And now, I'm finally back from my engin camp and bangkok trip. Time past real fast when you are enjoying. Just a blink of an eye, and happy moments are gone.

Engin camp (20/6 - 23/6) is fun although the turn out was rather small. I had the most craziest freshies ever. Ha! We had war games, mass dance, SP nights (aka secret pal), counsellors' item, pool games, cheong night at newsroom bar, inter-fac games, beach games, fright night and confidence walk, and freshmen's finale item. Althought I missed the finale part of the camp when the best OG and house is announced, as I have to rush to Lix's birthday dinner treat and packed up my luggage for my bangkok trip, it was still fun!! And you know what? My OG won the best OG and the house my OG is in won the best house!!!

Told you my freshies are the maddest.

Titus, you are the best lah... of course with the amazing leadership of the OGLs, haha one of them is me!!

just joking. just to mention all the counsellors im the group, who are the other ogl mingli, and hua hui and jie jiun did a great job too!!

after my early departure from camp, i met up with lix and gang for her birthday treat (23/6)where she revealed her new beau. quite interesting how you grew up with them and seeing your friends getting attached and how they grew at different stage of their lives. hmmm...

we went home early that night as we need to pack for our bangkok trip the next day. Too bad lix can't join us as she needs to work.

we met on fri morn (24/6) at a crazy time of 6 am at the airport. so there, me, see teng, kim, qiwen, the 2 elvins, and melvin, and zhihui saw each other sleepy eyes. but not all went on that smoothly. as see teng did not extend her passport because the expiry date is less than 6 months from the current date, she is not allowed to board the plane. moreover, she's a malaysian, she could not extend her passport in time to catch a later flight as the extension requires a week for processing. with unwillingness in her eyes, she bid us goodbye.

anyway, we had fun in bangkok bargaining and shopping and sightseeing. here's what we have done for the 5 days.

24/06
arrival at bangkok international airport. checked into First hotel. lunch at BK and went to MBK for our first shopping. went back and dinner at almost closing A&W. slept rathger early for early tour next morn.

25/06
woke up at 6 am bangkok time (bangkok is 1 hr earlier than spore time, so if spore time is 7 am, bangkok is at 6 am). buffet breakfast at hotel's restaurant. 1/2 day tour to chao phrya river, temple, leather factory, gem factory and 4-faced buddha. lunch at a food court at central plaza (if i am not wrong), bumped into a japanese festival carnival outside the plaza, went to ratunam for more shopping. went to chinatown in the evening, went for dinner at shangrila restaurant, and strolling along the streets of chinatown where we bought some supper back.

26/06
woke up at 6 am. planned to visit chatuchuk, world's biggest weekend market. shopped till we almost dropped. lunch at a restaurant there. went back to hotel at about 3 pm. went for dinner. went to sua lum night market for gazing and shopping.

27/06
woke up slightly later. visited grand palace. lunch at MK restaurant at MBK. Shopped for more stuff at MBK, until I am almost broke. dinner was dao baoing from road side stalls. transverstittes cabaret show at night and packing of stuff to return to singapore the next day.

28/06
woke up a later time. breakfast followed by packing of stuff. checkout of hotel. lunch at KFC, and window shopping at nearby shopping centres. (we are broke at that time). then we bid good bye and good buy to bangkok.

so in all, i bought 5 t-shirts, 3 shorts, a pair of sunglasses, a pair of shoes, a belt, a cap, a sling bag, some food stuff and some souviners.

* contented*

a rather long blog. photos will be up at a rather late date as dial up is not friendly to uploading photos!

I am still alive!

You know how I hated dial up internet connection because everything loads up so slowlu that it will put you to sleep in no time.

And yup, I am still alive despite results are disastrous that almost made me give up hope in pursuing a University degree. I was in a state of utmost depression for a few days after the release of my results, and thus productivity in my sales ability was not at tip top condition while at the PC show.

Yes, I was working at the PC show, for the past weekend, selling Samsung laptops. I admit. I wasn't a good salesperson and the impact of the results contributed to the rather low sales for my part.

So that's how I spent the past few weeks.
