Music, booze and fun
It has been food, music, booze and fun for the past 2 days. Last friday, was margaesh's last day at ERM, and so boss treated us lunch at pastamania. Following that, we had a night's out at Berlini's room at St James' Power Station. But just before I met my colleagues at the club, thanks to Wailun who met up with me to kill time and window shop at Vivocity for around 2 hours plus.Apparently, St James' crowd is of a more mature group, and the bouncers have to check my IC to allow me in. *roll eyes*. I'll take it as a compliment and assume that my youthful look is of envy to everyone else there. It's a nice place to hang out at Berlini's as it is sort of a jazz bar, with a live jazz band and a not bad singer. Thanks to Sok Koon's beau who signed me and Sin Yan in, so that we don't have to pay a cover charge. And thanks to boss for the whisky and red wine treat. I did not dare to drink much after the bad experience at Reso chalet last year. Besides, I don't know my colleagues THAT well to embarass myself. So basically, it's just a glass of Black Label whisky and a wine glass of red wine, with water and green tea to ensure I am still sober.
Pics for the night!
Me, Sin Yan and Margaesh. Damn! I look short and not because I am, but Sin Yan is like over 1.7m and Margaesh is more than 1.8m.
Me and Veron. Finally redeemed myself for the height conflict.

Yesterday was my cousin's, Eunice, wedding with his beau, Jeffrey. I realised the whole wedding thing is really a very complicated issue. There are so many ceromonies and all the procedures the couple and their families have to go through on that day itself. But marriage is a once in a life time thing, thus it's all worth it to go through all the hassel. Amongst the hassel, there are few emotional moments as well, especially at the church, when my Eunice thanked her mother for her tolerance and effort in bringing her daughter up. So many tears fell, and even some of my uncles teared. As of all Chinese traditional weddings, the day ended with a Chinese wedding dinner at a Sze Chuan restaurant Parkroyal hotel. As usual, the table I was in is with my male cousins, and as usual, we shared jokes and lame riddles. We really knew how to entertained ourselves.
Photos for the day. Didn't bring my camera for the dinner.
A rather fruitful weekend. And now, I will be staying at home, lazing around on a lazy Sunday afternoon.
