Eventful Week
Oh well, it's going to be a short one so that I don't forget what happened during the week leading up to my birthday.
Sunday, met up with Veron and Jeanne to have lunch at Ding Tai Fung at Paragon and, Ben and Jerry's at Orchard Central.
Tuesday, Jamie Cullum concert at Esplanade Concert Hall with Siandy, and bumped into Gary and beau.
Friday, dinner at Grand Asia Restaurant at Odeon Towers with primary school friends, desserts later at Liang Seah Street.
Saturday, at RWS, Vivocity and Raffles City.
Sunday, lunch at Ikea and dinner at TampOne, with desserts at Mac.
Photos at facebook will detail everything, after I have finished uploading all my Japan trip photos.

The Age
I just got a sms a couple hours ago from dear Siandy, asking me to enjoy the last of my mid 20 life because tomorrow I will be late 20s!
I was like... Speechless.
Imagine receiving that sms after running 5.6km for JP Morgan Corporate Chase, and feeling all so tired and aching everywhere. And worse still, the timing was not Olympic-ish. Not even a mile near that, making me feel much much older than I already am. The sms wasn't any much encouraging, yah?
Haha!
Oh well, you know what, Siandy? Have you heard that for guys, 30 is the start of the prime? I haven't even reached my prime yet!
Yup, that makes it sound much much better!!
Anyway thanks for the birthday message! Really appreciated it, though in a really interesting way.
And yup, Pris, hope the rest of us can meet up soon again. Sorry for the late reply. I was running for my life. Haha!
On other news, I got this:

Audio Techinca AT2020 USB microphone.
Actually I was looking for a microphone so that I could do some recording and sound engineering. It's actually just for leisure and fun, nothing much serious. But somehow, I got that in the end. Yes, I could have gotten a normal karaoke microphone, but I read on the Internet that I need a pre-amp to make it sound
amped (whatever that means). And USB mics have built in pre-amp. I wanted to get a Samson Q1u which costs less than half the price but it was out of stock. The CAD one didn't look fantastic, so I didn't get that.
Please don't ask me how much!!
PS: I didn't fork out the money. But still I was heart-ached.
Tata!

Of Interviews, Projects and Birthdays
I will try to keep this post as short as possible, although I have been missing out for almost 2 weeks.
Been actually called for 2nd interview for JGC, the Japanese EPC company. Totally disappointed with that interview, not with myself, but with the interview, and the offer SUCKS BIG TIME. I am so angry with myself why I allow myself to be stuck in such a situation and be humiliated by such person. Anyway I am not going to accept that offer, unless something really goes so wrong. There will be another interview, that is with Yokagawa. It is the 1st round and I hope it will be a good one.
Finally, the super big project design concluded on Thursday!! And since it coincides with my birthday and the last day of school for most of us, we have a small celebration at Marche at Vivocity where we got high with beer, mushrooms and phototaking.
Thanks to the Resonance kakis for the quick lunch at Arts on Friday. Sorry I can't join you all at Daily Scoopz. Hope you all have enjoyed yourself!
So far the presents I have got are ang baos (family), a haversack (class people), and a nice cheesecake and One Republic CD (bro).
This year's birthday I missed out having meal with my family, largely because of the projects and having other plans with friends. But somehow, this year's birthday was quite different. Besides being sick, it's the feeling that's different. Maybe it's the age... I am getting old. Thanks to all who have messaged, facebooked, msn-ed your greetings. Appreciated greatly!
So now, I am left with the last project and the final 2 papers for exams and after that, IT'S THE EUROPE TRIP!!!
PS: Not as if my writing skills are real good, but I realised my writing skills have deteriorated,. Sighz!
